Robbi Kenney is a classical violinist/violist and crossover music producer. She has performed on stage with a wide range of artists including 2Cellos, Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Sarah McLachlan, Evanescense, Lindsey Stirling, Elise Testone, Quiana Parler, Aslyn, and the Trans Siberian Orchestra. She began studying violin and piano at the age of 4. Her major teachers were Fernando Laires (piano - Eastman School of Music), Oliver Steiner (violin), and Beth Newdome (former Atlanta Symphony assistant concertmaster). Ms. Kenney is also a collaborative pianist and musical theatre director. As an accompanist, she worked for the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chorus, the Charleston Gospel Chorus, the College of Charleston Concert Choir, and the Charleston Ballet Theatre. As a guest musical director, she worked for the Dock Street Theatre, the Footlight Players Repertory Company, the Village Playhouse, Midtown Studios, and the Charleston Music Hall. In 2008 she founded Little City Musical Theatre Company, which was awarded the title of "Best New Musical Theatre Company 2009" by the Charleston City Paper. Ms. Kenney currently serves as Principal Violist of the North Charleston Pops! Orchestra and is looking forward to upcoming solo appearances in 2019.
